Trisha Bauman

Trisha Bauman advises senior executives around the world in creative leadership, executive influence and strategic executive communications. From Fortune 500 companies to international NGOs and high-growth startups, Ms. Bauman helps senior leadership strengthen their teams and their organizations.

Through TJBauman she has advised senior executives and executive teams from industries including Finance (Fidelity Investments, JPMorgan, TD Ameritrade and Mizuho Securities USA), Media (Rada Film Group, Illness Productions), Biotech (MagnePath, CoheroHealth, Double Helix and BoardVitals) and international NGOs (Tostan, BEAN Shanghai, Wild Sanctuary). She has created and coached strategic keynote addresses and leadership communications for such venues as the Harvard Business School Summit on Gender and Work, Skoll World Forum for Social Entrepreneurship, Fidelity Investments Quant Summit, Women In The World Summit, Women In Leadership Asia Forum, TEDGlobal Conference and TEDWomen Conference.

Her previous leadership roles include serving as Director of Communications for the launch of the international educational film producer BYkids in New York City. She guided the organization’s branding, strategic messaging and key institutional partnerships, securing pivotal alliances with the Ford Foundation and Discovery Education.

Committed to social and environmental sustainability, Ms. Bauman serves as a Director on the Board of the United Nations Association of New York, as Co-Chair of the International Society of Sustainability Professionals Greater New York City Chapter, as Advisor to TEDxShanghai Women and as an Executive Mentor to Springboard Enterprises, the international venture-catalyst for high-growth technology companies led by women.

Mastering the art of high-stakes performance on the stages of the world’s opera houses, she performed over a decade as a lead dancer and actor with several of France’s national contemporary dance and theater companies. Ms. Bauman has served as an overseas cultural envoy for both the French Department of Foreign Affairs and the French Department of Culture. She is fluent in French.

Trained in non-verbal communications (NVC), particularly Laban Movement Analysis, she speaks at Fortune 500 companies, international conferences and universities including NYU, Harvard University, Bowdoin College, Kenyon College, Tufts University, Université de Québec à Montréal, Université de Paris VIII and Universität Bern.

Ms. Bauman has degrees in Economics and Modern European History from Bowdoin College (B.A., magna cum laude). She spent her childhood in Portland, Oregon, and in Sydney, Australia, where her father was the Senior Representative of the United Nations to Australasia.
